We’re so excited to announce that Wild Pursuit won a Gold Award at the Marketing Achievement Awards.
We entered our South African Airways Museum project into the Resourceful Marketing category.
As a first-time entrant, we went head-to-head with established industry players, including Discovery Bank, ABSA, Pep, Ogilvy and Jacaranda FM.
Endorsed by the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA)
The Marketing Achievement Awards are important for South African marketers. The likes of Doug Place (Nando’s Chief Marketing Officer) compete in and attend these awards.
Just getting to the finals is an accomplishment in itself. Entrants have to clear a high bar, achieving a score of +70% for a rigorous set of criteria. Top marketing people in South Africa evaluate the comprehensive 3 000-word submissions.
Resourceful marketing and unlimited ideas
The category required a campaign-budget of less than R 1m. Ironically, we had less than R100k for this project, which felt like a lot of money for our client.
Winning gold means we’ve been recognized for creating a powerful marketing campaign that resonates deeply. We shared the real numbers behind the museum’s growth.
